The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is a 90 year old initiative that recognizes, and offers scholarships to youth from across the country for their exceptional vision, while also providing a singular opportunity for students to be noticed for their creative talents. The Awards are set up by region and students in grades 7-12 are eligible to apply. Students submit work in the categories of art, writing, or a special category (i.e. video games, novel writing, future new, and more). Submissions must meet the Awards criteria: originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal vision or voice. Click here to learn more about the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards criteria.
