The Della Keats summer programs has expanded its capacity and capability by adding, among other things, a SIM component that uses high tech manikins to simulate medical conditions that students must diagnose and correct. Della Keats joined with the Alaska Native Community Advancement in Psychology (ANCAP) program. This program was developed to address the shortage of behavioral health providers and to recruit and train Alaska Native behavioral health professionals to serve in rural Alaska. Four students are selected.

The program is seeking applications from the Interior of Alaska. The Della Keats application deadline is coming up March 7th but the application deadline can be extend a week.
