Arctic Information Technology (AIT), a subsidiary of Doyon Government Group, has donated $3,000 to Doyon Foundation to establish a new competitive scholarship. The first scholarship will be awarded this fall for the 2014 – 2015 academic year.

The Arctic Information Technology competitive scholarship will be awarded to a Doyon, Limited shareholder or descendent, who is a junior or senior majoring in information technology, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

“This scholarship was established to support the educational goals of a shareholder interested in pursuing a career in the information technology field,” said Kevin T. Slattery, senior vice president and general manager
of Doyon Government Group. “Computers and information technology services impact every aspect of today’s world. The industry is large and will continue to support employment for many years to come.”
